Community Mediation Services is funded by public and private support (for a list of funders refer to the Funding page).

To invest in your community through the work of CMS:

- Make a contribution to CMS. You may make your contribution in the memory or honor of someone special.

All contributions are greatly appreciated and will be listed publicly under the following contribution levels:

- President's Circle (Above $3,000)

- Leader ($1,000 to $2,999)

- Facilitator ($500 to $999)

- Advocate ($250 to $499)

- Supporter ($100 to $249)

- Friend ($1 to $99)

How to use GoodSearch

Here's a fast and easy way to help CMS and it won't cost you a thing.  If you use the Internet, more than likely you use a search engine like Google or Yahoo to find information on a specific topic.  There is a search engine called GoodSearch that will donate $0.01 to CMS for every search you make through them.  GoodSearch is powered by Yahoo, so you are guaranteed high- quality search results. 

A cent might not seem like a lot, but if 100 people searched twice a day, CMS would get $730 at the end of the year.  No strings attached.

Since CMS is already a recognized charity the set up process is quick and simple. 

  1. Go to www.GoodSearch.com
  2. There is a grey box that says: "WHO DO YOU GOODSEARCH FOR?"  In the blank box under it type: Community Mediation Services.
  3. "Community Mediation Services-CMS (New Hope, MN)" should now appear in that box.
  4. Click on "Add GoodSearch to your IE, Firefox or Mac toolbar".  Select the browser you normally use (Internet Explorer or Firefox for PCs or Safari for Mac).      Follow the instructions to install GoodSearch.
  5. Now, every time you use the search box, CMS will benefit.

If you do some shopping on-line, check out GoodShop.  Up to 30% of your purchase can be donated to CMS.  There are hundreds of merchants to choose from.  Many you already use.    Donations vary by store.

Ebay Auction

Do you have things that you will no longer be using and are just taking up space?  Donate to CMS and we will sell them on Ebay.  Through their Giving Works program, your in kind donation will turn into cash.  

You can drop off your donation at our office or at The Studio at Rush Creek in Maple Grove.  The Studio takes care handling the auction and shipping the items to the buyer once the items are sold.
